Long long time bo write long long post~ XDWent to Universal Studios Singapore yesterday! My father got 2 free tickets, from his company. We were going for an annual company event, which includes Buffet for dinner too. A colleague joined us, but I forgot his name~ Quite handsome, but too old (sorry!) and really short (sorry again!) If he's much younger and taller, I don't mind looking at him all day~LOL
The guy in white, beside my father(most right) is the Uncle I mentioned earlier.
He's shy, don't let me take his front view >.<
My father wasn't supposed to be in here!! He somehow walked backwards as if he knew I was taking photos!! ARGHHHH
The weather was hot, and too bright for my eyes. I blamed myself for leaving my cap in the living room. I totally forgot about it until I reached Vivo City.
1st Stop: Battlestar Galactica. This is the world's tallest pair of duelling roller coasters propelling thrill-seekers on serveral twists, inversions, zero-g roll, vertical loops and near collisions mere centimeters apart. 2 different types of rides, Cylon (blue) and Human (red). Took the red track. Queuing is what I dislike, the line was too long!
Thrilling, and scary, especially when it accelerates and drops dramatically, with twists, somehow sideway (I don't really know how to describe). Anyway, I sat at the most right side. When it turns, I felt I was going to fly out of my seat any time!! Nearly dropped my glasses too! This is how the roller coaster looks like:
Bumped my left upper arm at the side of my seat, now left with bruises, but it 's worth it! Below is the close-up view of my sexy flabby arms~ I know my arm is fat, so SHUT UP!
好可憐的手臂
Didn't take the blue track due to my migraine and stiff shoulder issues (20 only, so many illnesses and pains), and from what I saw outside, the ride has circular turns. Not sure if I can handle it, my father told me it's better to be safe than be sorry.
2nd Stop: Lunch time at Mel's. Had chicken burger, all 4 of us. Seriously, not nice and no taste at all. The fried chicken skin was too hard to bite. Whatever~we just wanted to heal our hungry stomachs.
Walked around the USS, and we entered an Egyptian Theme Place. Uncle, father and brother went to take the Revenge of the Mummy ride (indoors) while I go take a dump ( I missed the fun!! My father told me it's thrilling, especially when it moves backwards very fast and suddenly. T_T)~
Didn't see them after I finished my business, so I walked around and took some random ugly pictures!
The place is so hot, with the sun shining so brightly. Luckily for me, there's a shady part where I sat on the floor and waited for them.
3rd stop: I'm not sure where we went, but we were watching a musical show. Though I had no idea what's the theme of the musical, but I totally love the special lightings effects and FIREWORKS~the crack was loud, and the smell of the fireworks was strong! I only remembered they sang "We will rock you", "Nobody", one guy (think it's American? :x) sang chorus part of "月亮代表我的心" to an actress. I remembered she said, after the song, "I don't understand Spanish". The weird part is nobody laughed or boo-ed or shouted the song is Mandarin/Chinese. Everybody was quiet, as if all were dead.
Went to take a roller coaster ride at the Ancient Egypt. Can't remember the name, but it looks like this:
Followed my father and he anyhow walked into a place and started lining-up. In the end, we took a safe water boat trip where we looked at the Madagascar Characters. I loved how the zebra sat like a boss, took a sip of his drink and spilt it on us~ But we don't get wet at all, with just a sprinkle of water. None of us took pictures as we were all attracted to those Characters. I found some pictures here.
This is an outdoor river raft ride, with fast currents, moderate bumps, and most important of all, we don't know how the raft moved upwards and it dropped down with water splashing at us! Got us all wet~the girl who sat beside me (in the middle place) wasn't wet at all! Even her hair was dry! She didn't wear the raincoat. I personally think she's unlucky, because the main purpose of the ride is to be wet, even better, soaked!
Time: 6.45pm. End of our playtime, as we had to move on to Starz Restaurant, Hard Rock Hotel, for our dinner buffet! My brother and I had Spagetti, Fried Rice, Big Prawns, Oysters, 8 bite-sized Pandan and Chocolate cakes, Sashimi, some veggies and fruits. Oishii~ ^_^ We ate till 8.30pm, and I had a small talk with one of my father's colleague. He asked, between me and my brother, who is the elder sibling. I pointed myself, and he appeared shocked! He told me that according to looks (not heights o~), I am younger~ OMG! I'm so happy I can fly~ This is the 5th time that different people said this~Lalala~~ XD The Uncle's wife asked me which school I'm studying, and she was surprised that I had already graduated 1 month ago at NYP. At first, I was thinking to myself, "Graduate from NYP, very bad meh? Or my face said I can't graduate? Need to be so shocked?" She thought I was going to prepare for my O Levels! Not sure if I can believe her words as she looked like she's lying through her teeth. I chose to believe her in the end, because that's her side of good thoughts and it doesn't hurt!
Took some random pictures while my father and his boss had a mini casual short meeting.
Initially wanted to wait for fireworks performance. The sign said 8pm, but when it's 9.30pm, there wasn't any sign of fireworks display. My father decided not to wait any longer, as he wants to rush home and sleep. :x
Hitched a ride home from Sentosa in don't know who's lorry. Been 8 years since I last sat at the back of the lorry, enjoying the wind blowing on my face and making my hair super messy (like siao zar bo). Thanked the driver, and we walked to Habourfront carpark.
To the 2 little kaypohs, this is what I did while inside the car:
1 - Took off shoes
2 - Lied down at the backseat
3 - Put legs against the car door comfortably.
4 - Closed eyes
5 - Slept
6 - Snored like a pig
7 - Reached le, wore shoes
8 - Opened car door, went out
9 - Closed car door
10 - End.
All in all, I really enjoyed my day at the Universal Studios Singapore!
